Most Currumbin Waters estates were laid out in the early 1980s along Currumbin Creek. Most homes are freestanding houses, and most are owner-occupied, so people here tend to stay, look after the place and plan ahead. Storm season keeps homeowners on alert, and a roof that’s ready for it makes a real difference.
Getting your roof storm-ready
- Rebedding and repointing so ridge caps stay put in strong winds.
- Replacing cracked or slipped tiles before driving rain finds the gap.
- Clearing and resealing gutters and downpipes, so heavy rain goes where it should.
- Checking flashings and valleys, which is where most leaks start.
After a storm
If your roof’s taken a hit, take photos for your insurer and stay off it. Call me on 0431 265 377 and I’ll inspect it, document the damage with photos and give you a written quote you can pass to your insurer.
Whole-exterior jobs
Many 1980s homes here are due for a roof restoration and a repaint. The Whole-Exterior Package does both on one schedule, with one warranty.
